Dean Allan Hewitt, owner of DJ Dean SA, was very excited to be part of this beautiful wedding. Dean and the groom, DJ Fourie, met at Brackenfell High School where they both served on the Student Council.
DJ has supported our business loyally over the last 5+ years with various functions, which he organised, so we decided to give him a good deal for his wedding.
DJ Dean has done many functions at Eensgezind Function Venue over the past 7 years and always look forward to these gigs. We have DJ’ed at more than 500 venues, but this venue always towers out above the rest. The service is the best you can dream of, the facilities are excellent, the food is perfect and the venue is breathtakingly beautiful. It comes as no surprise that this venue has been voted the number 1 reception venue at the ABIA awards the past 2 years.
With DJ, a very good organiser and passionate about life and God, and his beautiful wife and perfect match for him, Danielle, both being avid dancers we knew that this would be an “easy” wedding where people would dance all night, with little motivation needed. It was no coincidence that this couple met each other at Klipwerf Danssaal, Brackenfell.
Sunelle Diedericks, trainee at DJ Dean SA, joined DJ Dean on the evening and learned a lot from the owner and founder, on this evening. She had many questions, which was great and showed many interest in the different aspects of wedding DJ’ing.
The dance floor was busy throughout the evening, with a great variety of music for old and young to choose from. Langarm music proved to be the most popular on the evening, with mostly Afrikaans guests attending and we managed to work in some new Afrikaans songs like Naweeklyfie, Sewe oseane, Rebel en rats and Super hero. There was still more than 30 people left on the floor when the last song was announced for the evening, and even timeless classics like The gambler and Tougher than the Rest went down really well.
It was also nice to work together with Ananda Louw from Eensgezind Function Venue, who recommends us on a regular basis. A very nice gesture was when DJ gave Ananda flowers to thank her for all the extra effort she put in to make their wedding really memorable, a clear indication of the measures Eensgezind and their staff go through to make your wedding one to remember.
As always, we caught up with some of our previous clients at the wedding and was thrilled to hear how much they all enjoyed the music at their respective weddings.
